you can't measure intelligence by ability in chess.. because it is a game of concentration as well as intelligence.

iq tests online are fun to do.. but the results are fairly meaningless.. is there a standard series of IQ tests that the government or something uses... like in courts in america sometimes they mention the IQ of the person - did they get this from an official government IQ test?

Er quite, and it's not even a measure of pure intelligence, as it measures your aptitude for games and certain types of strategy - and, quite often, your ability to recall strategies for moves you've already seen.

If you do well apply to Irish Mensa. They send you out a test kit which you need to send back and get marked. If you do well they invite you to sit the 2 hour exam.

i've taken the emode IQ test and i got 97 and also it said that i'm good with understand complex issues.But if ya want more info bout ur self u have to pay up.A part from ur brain they do health, Relationships, Personality,Career, and also Pop Culture..?.



p.s: is 97 ok score?. I think 100 is avage

Yeah the spark.com was the only really accurate one, it told me I was a dumb s**t and I'd tend to agree.

Yeah the Emode one is pretty interesting - but seems much more of a pattern recognition thing than an actual IQ test.
