    Dedicated Server

The Avon Lady's new OPF FAQ

I'm going to start reading some of thiss stuff now, but what I'm searching for is a list of teh ports that OPF needs (for both server and client). There is some abiguity about this from what I've seen, and if we want to get a trial server we'd need to be able to supply this info on demand.

It's now been reduced to 1 main port ad (I think) one query port.
    The default is 2302
I'm pretty sure it's still TCP and UDP in/out, but I want to clarify that

It's ok, I think I found what I was looking for...

Problem: What ports need to be opened in a firewall to play (or to host) online?

Solution: Direct X will need either TCP and UDP port 47624 or 6073, both incoming and outgoing as well as TCP and UDP ports 2300-2400, both incoming and outgoing. OFP itself requires TCP port 2234, both incoming and outgoing.

Norwegian OFP player Geir insists that UDP port 2234 is all that is required and not the equivalent TCP port, as Codemasters documented. So don't say I didn't tell you so!
