Might have to see it for the tag line alone :

"What do you get when you cross toxic waste with a bunch of exotic spiders?… Eaten"

Aaaagh, no. Not a chance. I'm not even going near the cinema if there's a poster up.

Resident Evil was the game with the spider-things, wasn't it? Couldn't play that either.

No spiders, thanks - watching Arachnaphobia hurt.

(I wish all who go to see it good luck though)

Eight Legged Freaks (ELF) is actually going to be a hoot. It's based on the old B movies concept from the 50s, and is supposed to be along the same lines as 'Tremors'.. ie a comedy horror. I've been watching the progress of this one for a number of months, and to be honest I can't wait to see it.

Sad thing is .. it used to be called 'ARAC ATTACK'.. but of course the yanks got a bit iffy with that title after september 11th, and it was deemed too close to 'IRAQ ATTACK', phoenitcally speaking of course.

So - ELF it became and that's the title that will hit the cinema screens in the next few months. Expect 5 types of giant spiders, loads of gooey fun and fair few belly laughs as well. Special effects are supposedly quite good and the cast of looser-townspeople should make this a very enjoyable 'sleeper' hit.

    Looks like a blast.

Unfortunately almost everyone I know (including my gf) here in Switzerland are arachnophobics. Bah. I hate going to see movies on my own.

I mean - I can understand people being scared of real spiders....but a movie? I know - its irrational - but I just dont get it.....
