My best friend happens to be english actually, just as a coincidence.

People worldwide might have this view of us because its a stupid stereotype, and the fact that the likes of heat write that rubbish is a tad silly, BUT I would like to make the point that most people dont actually think of Ireland that way. Its kinda like someone messin calling all russians commies. We know it isnt true, but its a stereotype that might be used jokingly. It aint nice being at the butt-end of it I know, but gees like, no need to get all nationalist.

I do think that wyveryn was printing that song as kind of an amusement and he prolly isnt a brit hater(maybe im wrong?) but yes monty ure right, a little more tact wouldnt hurt.

What I find amusing about Brit haters is the fact that most of them tend to speak not a jot of Irish, watch british tv, read british magazines and listen to british bands.

I think if you wanted to be "truly" Irish you'd have live in a dark hole in the burren.
