Reports are saying that Fincher has signed up for another two films.

    1. The Reincarnation (remake of the 70's thriller)
    2. Mission: Impossible 3

Should add something new to the M:I series.

Anyway what's your favourite Fincher flick?

    Fight Club. Obviously.

I'm doubting he's signed up for M:I 3, or at least I'm hoping it's a false rumour. The first two were woeful, Fincher can do better than that.

Check this out, one of the first things he did:

Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983) (assistant cameraman: miniature and optical effects unit)

    awww :)

hes only done like 5 or 6 films as a director...
alien3, the game, se7en, fightclub and the panic room being the only ones i know offhand... so theres not great choice there to choose a favourite ;) (*cough* fight club)

Favourite would be Fight Club, Se7en a close second, and I liked alien 3, haven't seen the others.

Like most people I'd choose Fight Club, Se7en and Alien 3. Alien 3 was my fave Alien film but I don't think too many other people would agree with that choice.

Se7en. Never really liked his other films. Se7en ruled tho.

I love them all. I think he's a brilliant director. I saw that about him working for ILM. Pretty nice to have on your CV.

Actually the third one was probably my favourite too, very dark and suspenseful, 2 was good but I preferred the feel of 3.

Its pretty certain that MI:3 is Finchers next movie. He has all but signed on the dotted line......

I've seen most of his films and to be honest its very hard to pick one I like above all off them. I suppose it would have to be The Game. Just love that.

.. and there you go. Fincher HAS signed on the dotted line for MI:3.

I liked MI:2, I'll be interested to see what he does with MI:3, could be good.

I doubt he would be the man for MI3. After all Fincher is all about a visual style that he creates himself ... not pandering to what a summer blockbuster movie dictates.

I agree that he has his own style that makes his movies unique. But I'm looking forward to see what he can do with M:I3. The first was brill, second was entertaing and I'm just looking forward to see Fincher at work on a series like MI.

I don't think Se7en is underrated though. It's a brilliant movie and alot of the critics liked it and the public seemed to like it.

I wonder what he can do with the remake of "The Reincarnation"

Would alien 3 not be considered a blockbuster

seven was the best, but as i have only seen Fight Club its not a hard choice.

I wouldn't have thought M:I 3 to be Fincher's kind of movie. (Do we even need a f'king third?)

Yeah I loved Fight club and Seven, but for me the second aliens film was much better than the third.

I don't think his style will suit MI:3, he has a dark kind of view on everything, this is a leave your brain at home movie.

Fight Club was his best and The Game was also very good. There was an interview with him on last month's Total Film
