Any help with this problem ?

I have 2 decoders. 1 is a UK FTV card decoder for UTV CH4 ect and the 2nd is my Irish subscription. My problem is when I turn over the channel on 1 decoder it changes the channel on the other as well. The only work around I've found so far is to block the IR reception on 1 with tin foil. Not great though - Any idea's ??

you could also block off both ir receivers and then connect each box to a tv link eye placed in different parts of the room away from each other, so that when you point the remote at one tv link the other is not picking up the signal. the link eye cost about 20 euro each.

Plug out the offending box...I say plug it out:D
that usually applies to the bbc carded box if you are going to do most of the ch. hop on the Irish one.

the ir position on the pace is about an inch below the standby light.

Just cover up the entire transparent panel with a strip of tinfoil, hopefully that should work.

I had the same problem with the pace myself. I have it covered with a section of electrical tape from top to bottom between the 'tv guide' button and the viewing card, with a little hole for the standby light.
