    it has $114 million in its first weekend
    allthough tha doesnt mean its good,but from what i've being reading on sum amercian forums its ment to be good

    ive yet to see it, but a "sucky" ending may leave the door open to sequels, you need only look at the comics to see the number of roads the film makers could travel...

    i've seen it , it's a good film, stays pretty true to the comics/cartoon most of the time, and it looks pretty sweet.

    the ending is ****ty, but it has nothing to do with the story
    the real e nding happens about 5 minutes beforehand, and is really good (imo), but the bit they stuck at the end is just crappy american patriotism at it's best.

    there already is a sequal planned. toby maguire is lined up again to play spiderman.

    Yeah ive seen it and its very good .... Special f/x are amazing the story is told very well and you see Kirsten Dunst in a t-shirt in the rain ...which is always a bonus in my book ;)

    Isnt she > She has some set of JCB starter buttons on her in that scene .... mmmmm nice !

    And due to the wonders of ADSL i can watch the movie over and over ...jealous ????

    I never cared for Spider-Man growing up.. It was always Superman, or Batman..

    and what is this crappy american patriotism? racist much? and if you don't like american movies, why watch them? I believe Christopher Reeve is American.. aka, Superman.. and I believe that Batman (all of them) was American lol

    No its not a crap quality rip , its a 3cd SVCD and the quality is really good , even hooked up to the 32in TV
