    has anyone ever wondered where the term "spam" came from and why it's become part of internet jargon? i'm sure it has nothing to do with the pressed meat! any suggestions?

    It is widely belived to be taken from the Monty Pythond's Flying Circus sketch called spam, whrer the pythons in a resturant continuosly say "spam" in answer to everything.

    Is'nt Spam the name some company gave corned beef in a can
    it used to come with a little key thing and you inserted the key and wound it around the can , and then as you can imagine the top came off......it was brillant in its day..

    Anyone remember?
