aye matthews a pretty good bet after his display against higgins.
osullivan should fend off hendry as he didnt seem to be the most confident during todays earlier sessions

I'd like to see Stevens win too but you can't rule out O'Sullivan.

i reckon o sullivan should win it! he's playing some good snooker, a dead cert for the final.

i would go for stephen hendry
when he plays at his best he is unbeatable

I hope O' Sullivan wins. He's a great player to watch. You don't even notice him playing some shots left-handed until John Virgo or someone points it out.

Given the quality of the snooker in the O'Sullivan-Hendry match, it's a brave soul who would pick a winner. I'd like to see O'Sullivan win it, as for me, he embodies the kind of heart and soul personnified by Alex Higgins & Jimmy White when they walked the tables at this stage of the championship. The most naturally talented snooker player to ever play the game- though as I say, both men have the game in spades to win it. The other semifinal, strange as this may sound, I would like to see Ebbo win, simply for that amazingly gritty and brilliant frame of snooker he played towards the end, needing two snookers, getting them, and clearing up. The Rocket is certainly the favorite for the title, but he'll need to beat two players at the top of their game first- fascinating stuff.

well i was completly wrong.. ebdon and hendry in the final.

money on hendry now after a convincing thrashing of osullivan (who was all over hte place in fairness)

You'd have lost all your money there Kali :D

Fair play to Ebbo, he's been the most determined and hard-working player on the tour this year, and a worthy winner of the world title. He just had his game spot on, and surged over the winner's line in style. Hendry was never at the top of his game, but you can only beat what's put in front of you, and no one does that better than Ebdon. He can only get better from here, grats to him again.

I thought he was finished after that black, 99% of other palyers would have been, but he got up and potted where it counted. He did deserve to win

Well you all underestimated Ebdon, don't you feel like idiots :)

I was thinking Ebdon was going to win it once he made it to the final, and what a final the best I've seen since Williams and Stevens.

true, hendry just didnt seem to be on his game.. but fair play to ebdon, he kept his cool just when it mattered in that last frame (very tense stuff indeed).. and overall probably deserves it in the end.
    absolutely great final to watch.
