Given that 90%+ of boards.ie users seem to use medium to large screen resolutions ("1000 x ???"+ here) and that boards.ie's front page seems to be set up for a small screen resolution and that you need to scroll the front page to get to most of the forums and much of the screen is white space, can the menu bar on the left hand side be 'doubled up' (may even need three)?

    Something like this: boards%20front%20page.jpg

Its set up that way so that it downgrades well for low res users.
IMO, its better for high res users to see some white space than to force low res users to horizontal scroll.

    Cant see the prob myself.

A scaleable redesign is on the cards.
