There's no pretence of impartialility when ITV cover footie!

Of course itv commentators are bias and rightly so

Their not there to ref the game! Their english and like most english non anti-MU football fan they wanted the English club to do well

You can hardly ask Jim Beglin and co. to be un - bias during ireland's World Cup games.

Exactly? What is wrong with English commentators being biased towards English teams? They obviously want them to do well, because they are English. Whats galling is Irish commentators being biased towards English teams. Whats the need for that (except of course in the case Uni'eh: the National Team)?

I disagree... I know it suits you man utd fans when you have a fan on the mic but a commentator like a teacher, doctor, referee and footballer all have one thing in common>>>>PROFESSIONALISM!!!!!! they are all expected to be professional individuals at the end of the day. If clive tyldsley can love man utd whilst doing work then why cant a teacher and a student have a good sh/*ag or a female nurse and a male patient or vice versa for the ladies views. Very different things dough they boil down to one thing...As for irish commentators routing on the nation i dont think anyone can begrudge patriotism and its a differnt thing altogether so long as the commentator shows respect for the other nation.
