Alex Ferguson is a bad loser

I don't have any admiration for Alex Ferguson what so ever......... I have never seen such an a***ehole in my life. That he is over rated is not his problem, but at least give oponents the credit they deserve! a few years ago Man UTD lost in Rotterdam to Feyenoord and yes one horrific fault was commited and not punished yet the reason according to him was the agressive style of play ect..... It is always the blame of the opponents never his side which is a good one yet in some parts overrated. Yet Alex Ferguson just can't be taken seriously anymore last season in the CL Alex did not bother to look at the competition facing his Man UTD why should he ?
But what I heard last night actually did it..... semi finals CL he managed to not even know the name of the opponents. He managed to call them Kaiserslautern (?) instead a bigger disrespect for the Germans could not be placed and then afterwards he proved, not for the first time, to be an extremely bad loser, calling Leverkusen lucky and blabla instead of asking himself:
    1. Why did we go up three times against Leverkusen and every time they manage to come back?
    2. Why were Leverkusen the better side over two games?
    3. Why did van Nistelrooy not get the supply he normally gets?

Anyway maybe Alex should really step down now before he makes himself into a arse for three simple reasons this season:
    1. not winning CL
    2. not winning FA cup
    3. not winning League Cup
    (4.) not winning the Premiership

Most other teams would have taken some steps!

    Bey Bey Alex

If he left now he'd be seen as the most spineless sham ever. I don't think he's overrated but does need to be a better loser

Good losers are bad winners. Ferguson doesn't like losing. As a fan of a rival team Ferguson does not want or need your respect or admiration.
Major questions have to be asked. Just what is Veròn's position? He proved himself the other night to be a poor winger, should he even have to play there? United are poor without Beckham, little or no imagination when Giggs is marked effectively.

Most of all, why was 28 million spent on improving the best midfield in England, and a 3odd y.o. centre back signed to augment a crap defence? The fact than Uni'eh are going to end up tophyless means people will start having to face up to questions like this.

    Bateman,

I have been saying on this board for a while now that Veron has been a waste of money. Others have been defending him saying that he will turn it on in the big games and look how well he played against Depor at home.

My opinion is that he is lazy, cant defend and is actually not all that good. He looked against Depor because United were already 3-0 up. I screamed at the TV the other night when I saw Butt being taken off instead of Veron. Admittedly he start to string a few passes together but he also lost the ball a couple of times and Leverkusen almost scored.

As for Ferguson do you actually think he would criticise his team in public? No chance.
The same with Houllier, Wenger, Robson. No decent manager will blame a defeat on their own team on TV unless of course its 4-0 or 5-0.

That semi-final was lost in Manchester when Keane and Beckham were missed and Giggs didnt perform.

Mostly true. But there are not too many Uni'eh fans who will face up to this reality. one trophyless season will not make them question their blind devotion to Ferguson.

veron is the best passer in the english league atm
united players are so slow to react to him
him and keane have a good understanding though
