Tomcat + mod_jk

Just installed Tomcat 3.3 and mod_jk (from the ports collection) on a FreeBSD box running apache 1.3.24.

Both are running fine but I'm wondering how to give other users on the machine the ability to run JSPs and Servlets from their own public_html directories; currently it's only serving the example servlets and JSPs.

Servlets run from public_html directories come up as 404s and JSPs display but none of the method calls seem to work.

I've tried creating a file called apps-users.xml to create a context for a test user, tomcat appears to create this fine but it does'nt make a difference.
