Burn DVD 2 CD ROM

    Anyone know of any good software which will convert my DVD titles to ordinary CD Rom, is this known as DivX format, can anyone help... or point me in the right direction...

    Go to www.vcdhelp.com

    It explains everthing and provides links to the s/w you will need ie: rippers, encoders, burners

    Be warned though, ripping a DVD takes ages ..... I have an athlon 650 and it took 8 hours in total , the actual ripping of the *.vob files to your hard drive is quick but the re-encode of those files to mpeg/divx takes hours.

    also make sure you have plenty of disk space, the average DVD is about 6Gb.
