    OK lads,

I've d/l Redhat 7.2 stuck it on disks and am trying to install it. However the laptop that I am trying to install it from won't boot from the CD for some strange reason. I can however boot to a DOS prompt and access the CD drive from there.
Is there a way that I can install it that way instead of booting from the CD? If so what command do I use?

You can create a floppy bootdisk using the rawrite command in the dosutils on the cd. Put in a blank floppy and from the cdrom drive type d:\dosutils\rawrite. When it asks for the image file use d:\images\boot.img and a: as the destination drive (assuming d: is your cdrom drive) This will create a boot disk. Boot off it and when it asks you for the installation medium select cdrom. After that it should use the cdrom.
