Whose great idea was it to have Euronews on RTE1 and TG4 at the same time in the mornings ?

My question. how come TG4 always cut it at about 2:20 in the morning when something interesting comes on. I always find something interesting is on then it cuts? Why dont they just broadcast it until they come back on in the morning? They might get more viewers :D.

Well, I enjoy my halfhour fix of Euronews on TG4 every morning b4 work. Handier than running off to another room to turn change digibox. (why the heck doesn't a Sky Digibox have a bog standard feature of LCD display so that you can see the EPG number without TV being on:( )

Yea. Bt a LCD screen = e5. E5 per box = less profit for Sky. see what i'm getting at? Youd be better off buying a PACE digibox or one from someone else who will actucully make a GOOD box and not something you can get in a Happy Meal.

Offically, TG4 shuts down at 2:00am unti 7:00am. In practice, some terrestrial transmitters appear to be left on all night. Some do close down however. NTL don't take chances, they cut the signal themselves at 2am and replace it with Link.

RTE One, N2 and TG4 all show EuroNews in the morning at the same time, for about an hour before The Den.
