I don't know what the start date is, but I've read that they've already picked the contestants.

Apparently, it starts on Friday May 16th, however I think that is stupid, as this means that it will run right through the World Cup, and you tell me, unless they pick a group all of whom hate soccer (not exactly likely!!!!!!) how in God's name are you not going to hear any discussion, especially in the unlikely event of England getting to the final, and even winnning the World Cup?

Big obsession with this programme with some.
My Dublin based friends are delighted that E4 is coming ... but the novelt will soon wear off methinks.
Though it better be good as it will need to be an antidote to a month of Soccer.
Wonder will the digital version of E4 on NTL(Is there one?) have interactive...??

of course there will not be interactive on ntl just for big brother. ntl will not be offering interactive services through their set top box for quite sometime yet.


I like big brother, it has that addictive quality about it, but i have to say big brother on e4 will be boring. I remember watching it last year on e4, after five mins i turned off. All you see was helen sunbathing and the rest of them just wandering around like lost souls. so there is no way that i will watch it on e4 will stick with the "highlights " on channel 4.

e4 wil be showing the auditions shortly, now i don't think i could handle that much coverage of it. It is interesting but hey not that interesting. plus i have read somewhere that the housemates will not get to hear the results of the world cup. abit much i think. but sure c'est la vie. but who is betting that the sun newspaper will hire a plane and stick the score of the first match on a streamer thing on the back of the plane.

therefore house mates will know the score. any publicity is good publicity right ?

This has gone too far! the first one was bad enough! If there is another all the people should just try to break out in the one night so there would be nobody left. That would really piss off the producers!

I see channel 4 are planning a documentary about auditioning for big brother before the show starts.A reality tv show about a reality tv show how sad.
I still probably end up watching it and if I dont i'll end up hearing about it from everyone else.

pat, E4 (the digital channel) have been showing audition tapes all through the night for a week now!!!! Now how sad is THAT????

not sad at all. i think it's much better than an E4 promo but it is entertaining when there is nothing else to do. some of those people will do anything to be on a tv show, be it entertaining or sad
