    Hockey Player,
What is on Channel 5,that you are desperate to see.
I have that channel and rarely watch it unless there is a footy match on.

He said on another thread that he's mad into Ice hockey and that C5 cover a lot of the NHL from the USA.

Its the only channel that covers NHL ice hockey, it shows highlights and Live matches. Sky sports did it years ago but stopped for some reason. Eurosport covers the World cup of hockey but thats only every two years. I would be greatful if anyone has a card to sell.

JEZ - how did you get the channel????

    thanks

I am interested in obtaining RTE1 and 2 etc and would be willing to exchange FTA UK card for similar one from Irish republic. However I think in order for the card to work the set top boxes would also need to be exchanged as the cards are mated with the boxes.

Bit of a bad deal there imho. ;) €19 a month for a FTV card. :)
I noticed this on ebay last night; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1348156196 , which is a rather amazing price. I got all mine for free from friends in the UK; do you know anyone there?

I'm after a FTA card as well for the kids channels that can't be got on subscription.

    Can anyone help?

I thought that RTE1 and 2 would be FTA in The Irish republic? If you cancel your subscription to Sky what channels do you get? In the Uk if you cancel your subscriptions to Sky you still get the BBC channels ITV ,C4 and C5 on your card on the SKY card. Can you not get a FTA card from RTE?

If i was to cancel my Sky package i would only get the irish channels through an analogue signal via an Aerial at the back of the TV. RTE dosent produce FTV cards :-(

    Daft, no.

The channels we get are exactly the same as what you may get in the UK, except for the BBC channels, ITV, Channel 4 and 5 etc....
