    berkeley release their 'New Star' e.p. on Friday 3rd May.
    To coincide with this they playthree Dublin shows.

    berkeley hugh law - drums, eugene mcginty - bass, tommy mclaughlin - guitar/vocals,
    recently returned from Chicago, U.S.A. where they recorded their debut album with
    the legendary Steve Albini (Pixies, Nirvana, Breeders).
    New Star is the first release from their debut album which will be released
    Autumn 2002 on Dublin based Independent Label Supremo Recordings,
    who recently released albums by rising American artists Jimmy Eat World and The Get Up Kids.

    New Star e.p. features five tracks: cat no REMO 006 CD (dist by Gael Linn)

    berkeley have recently supported Jimmy Eat World and the frames,
    they plan to spend the next few months playing throughout Ireland.
