Division 1 play-offs: On TV?

    Are the Division 1 play offs going to be on any TV Station that can be got in Ireland or will they just be on ITV Digital (if its still going)?

    I know this question dosen't mean much to our friends in the Republic who cannot recieve the various ITV English regions for various reasons, but I wondered why the play-off semi-finals, both first legs of which play this Sunday (different kick-off times) aren't being seen on regional ITV stations, as matches have been all season. I know that the 2nd legs are Thursday night, so, as they can't be shown live (imagine the fuss if people in the English Midlands had "Emmerdale" replaced by Norwich v Wolves!!!) I wonder is this the reason?

    I actually felt sorry yesterday for viewers in the London Weekend, Carlton Central and Anglia ITV regions. As 2 very exciting play-off games were taking place, viewers endured the boring (what an understatement!) spectacle of Michael Shumacher coasting around and around a motor racing track in Barcelona. Now-tell me, if you'd been in any of those regions, which would you rather have watched? I know I'd rather have watched the play-offs!
