Arsenal signed a new shirt sponsorship deal with O2 today. The crowd thats taken over Digifone. Tis only like yesterday Dreamcast was the new sponsor but because they are withdrawing from production due to the uncompetable demand for PS2 they are resided only to the software side of things like Eido's or something.. Check out the new shirt. .if it dont come out right let us know...

    Hmm looks a bit weird.

Ah well it could be worse, you've heard that Spuds fans are up in arms because their new sponsors Thompsons logo is red, the same colour as the Gooners shirts :) Talk about getting petty :p

    Gandalf.

ill agree the simplicity of the sponsor is unusual but the jersie itself is swell. I like the retroness of it

a celtic fan was telling me the other day that when Ford people sport sponsored celtic back in 91 or 92 they had "people" wrote in orange and the ford oval in blue or vice versa and you can imagine that was a hard pill to swallow.funny thing is about Spurs is that back in 99 Sugar was bursting to bring holsten back on the shirts because apparently theyve had so much success (wha??, is this spurs were on about??) in comparison with hewlett packard

I think it looks hideous. There is nothing retro about diagonal lines on the side.
It looks cheap, like most /\Nike/\ stuff. It is Nike isn't it? Anyway a better sponsor than before, Sega is the Italian for
    wa/\k.

that jersey is horrible. it looks too plain. i will definately not be buying that. and that ugly new club crest too.
    Mossy shivers

Dreamcast is defunct, hence the change.

Yeah... the only problem was that they were playing in their home strip for both games... Its just a pity they weren't playing Milan or Roma, so they would have had to play in their away strip.

as if we'd give a fu<k what italians would think.. At least the premier league aint **** to watch. on the matter of "ordinary" i suppose some people like these ugly patterns on a shirt that make one look like a rainbow trout.

The Premiership is exciting this year, fair enough it could go down to the last game - Arse Man U its going to be tight alright. However, last season United had it won by Easter, it was a joke. This season, Inter head the Italian league, with Juve and Roma hot on their heels. Its going to be just as interesting a climax as the English one. However, some people find it hard to "climax" over any other European league than the over-hyped English one.

i suppose some people like these ugly patterns on a shirt that make one look like a rainbow trout.
Don't know about a rainbow trout, but in saying that the new Arse shirt is ****e, I am saying it from the opposite point of view. All the Nike shirts for the world cup, including Brazil, Portugal, South Korea, and Holland's new one as well have these crap diagonal stripes on the sides. I mean as I say I don't know the first thing about these rainbow trout but if you look at those disgusting diagional lines on all the new Nike shirts (especially the cruel blue manner in which they hack their way across the Coatian check), they might be the closest thing you will find on contemporary shirts. The plainer shirts are far nicer, Germany ALWAYS have a nice Adidas effort and this years one is no different. Of course I wont be wearing it this summer as I have done sometimes in the past...

If you wanna know what i mean by rainbow trout check out the away kit. Again we are deprived of our yellow. Not the tackiest or the worst though i will admit. That gold one as tacky as it looked proved to be lucky.Still unbeaten in it and Hopefully until Old trafford night anyway.

Apologies for the mixup...heres the away kit

Disgusting. However, the fact that the away kit is one of the worst ever doesn't make the home one any nicer. I am still having nightmares about those diagonal stripes...

God its only two measly pin-stripes get over it man.........

from what i've been reading here i was expecting a complete disaster. it's not the best but it's ok. much better than the home shirt anyway

    Gandalf.

    Yeah,
I heard them moaning on Soccer AM last Saturday.

This gooners shirt has loose neck styling (or something !?) as do all the new Nike shirts- I like it apart from that.
    I'm a bit of a "collar man" meself ;)

Its not just two lousy pin stripes, they are hideous diagonal stripes that cut across the front of the shirts. And i couldnt give a flying fùck about Arsenal, its ALL the new Nike shirts. I mean Idon't expect much from Nike as faras tradition is concerned, but a little less of the stupid lines on the Brazil shirt, or the Croat check home would be nice.
