Quiz type questions:... no prizes, ... just for fun.

    1. Name the 1980's track that this line of dialog comes from...

"Now, I command thee to BUY this rotating plastic demon or I will curse thee until the end of time"

    2. What three artists had hits with three different songs in 1976 - all three of the songs titled "The Power of Love"?

    3. What trance group had a hit with "Pacific state"?

    4. Who composed the theme music for "Father Ted"?

note: er... subject is a bit off now... but who cares? :P

my brother posted this using opera on my computer - so he was accidentally logged in as me.

    anyway, the answers were:

    1. Paul Hardcastle - The Wizzard (Theme from Top of the Pops) (the dialog is at the very end)

    2. Huey Lewis and the News, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Jennifer Rush.

    3. 808 State

    4. Neil Hannon / The Divine Comedy

Then surely the second question is wrong - it should be 1986 not '76.

Yeah 1986, it kind of throws you when its out by 10 years, although it was obvious it was a mistake

no, it was 1976. The SUBJECT was wrong, as stated above.

But I can remember all those songs being in the charts and I wasn't alive for most of '76. You're just trying to confuse me aren't you? :)

Actually, I think it was '84 or '85, so it's totally wrong.

Of course it wasn't '76, you silly moo.
