FTV card help needed?? Please

    I received my FTV card in the post on Tuesday. I rang the UK number on Wednesday at 10 am to get the card avtivated. I've just checked and still I do not have ITV, CH4, CH5 or BBC. I rand the UK number again this morning, the guy I was speeking to told me that the signal was sent, but he would send it again.

    What could be wrong?? Do I have to add these channels manually or should they appear on the EPG automatically. Do I need to turn on adn off the Digibox??

    Please help!!!:( :(:(:(

    Did you have your card in the box all the time ?

    If you still have nothing,try this I have just activated a ftv card
    was advised to leave on bbc channel
    went to other chaanels and typed in 11720 H 27500 2/3
    and then pulled in bbc ni,sat on that channel and 10 mins later had everything,still waiting for bbc1

    hey seano,

    thanks for that. i'll give this a go later when i get home. i rang again this morning and they said that the card might be faulty!! they said they will send out another card but want me to return the old one..

    have to say that they have been very helpful.

    do you think that they will wait until they have the old card before sending the new one??

    Yeap , the card might well be faulty, if it's not doing what most other cards do automatically without tuning in via other channels.

    If you are going to try Seano's suggestion though-Be sure and tune in the BBC 1 region that you got the card from as all other BBC one regions will have a "08" screen a"This channel is not available" message.
