With general ellections coming up in France, Holland and Ireland. Europe might be on the brink of drastic redecoratrion of its political Landscaping. The first signs in the polls in especially France and Holland have shown that the traditional parties will pay and suffer for the " Regentess" way of politics times have change and the general of these two countries if sick and tired of smooth talking politician who actually have no intentions what so ever to give a clear statement about any subject. You see the trend in France where a communist woman is making life difficult for Jospin and Chirac who both are now Slender campaining her and see rises in every poll! Holland with right wing Fortuyn the same thing. Ireland in that way in not ( yet ) that radical although people her have the wright for Referandum and it has been executed here quit frequently where as Holland and France haven't because of the constitution and legislation. Well Italy at this stage will probably revolt even more against tycoon Silvio where as in Germany some rightwing elements are getting more and more support, Belgium has had it for the past 10 years. Spain is a bit more traditional. So the coming two years will probably change the political landscape within in the EU dramatically which in some way is going to make it all even less efficient as it is now.
    ps:
And the UK is thinking of joining now as well, which will give the US a powerfull allie in the paranoia attempts to break down the EU
