    Just got some Ram
    PC133Mhz Cas-3 168pin.
the actual ram chips are made by M&D (md57v1283204-7)
the ram itself is CIS Manufactured afaik (24wc02j)
I have tried it in two intel systems and it hasnt worked.
Just wondering weither the ram may be suited for an AMD Mobo

Is that a 512 stic you bought JP?
Probably doesn't work in the mobo, not all take 512 DIMMs.
    so, roffle ;)

AMD based boards are much more likely to accept CS3 RAM than Intel based.... a lot of [OEM] RAM manufacturers only test their prods in the the most recent boards, so there is often compatibility problems with 'older' boards...

buy CAS3 ram is like the most standard of standard basic rock bottom ratings.
It's in the P4 board you're putting it JP?

CAS3 should work no probs in a P4 mobo... Where did you get the memory?

    Take a look here http://www.cmtlabs.com/index.asp
these guys test Most of the Memory Manufacturers in Most of the Mobos and will tell you if your memory is compatible with your mobo. Its a pretty useful site. Had a very quick look and didn't see your memory there, but you might want to take a shot yourself.....
