    No I mean real Jazz.

    Testing on

    12.324 GHz Vertical, SR:27500, FEC:2/3

    Labelled 'jfm'.

Tried it out and it's quite good.

Carroll's - thanks a million for this pointer.
I'll try it this evening. This could be Jazz FM
from London. I like Jazz music a lot and you
can get some via MusicChoice and more of
it on MusicChoice plus (but the latter costs
extra Euros and I like presenters on Jazz
shows so it's a bit clinical like elevator music
    format on MusicPlus).

I'd bet this is JazzFM in london. They have a
realaudio feed on their website whose URL
deludes me just now but you can check it
    up on google.

I suspect they'll (jazz fm) make it onto the EPG.
This is good, roll on early May,
    RTE1/N2/TG4/Lyric/Stereo Radio 1/BBC1/BBC2/TV5 (france)
and Jazz FM. The things I miss are 5live which is only
on the FTV card and the ability to thumb through the
BBC radio stations rather than through the awkward
extra channels repetitive strain injury hack :)

dammit, I'll have to retract my previous praise for Jazz FM.
I have listened a few times (via the add channels/extra channels)
and they are a very pale shade of what they used to be as
I recall from tuning into them on RealAudio at night times.
They seems to play wall to wall "smooth jazz" .

FOr the uninitiated Smooth Jazz is kinda muzak aka elevator
music with saxophones, synths and the like. At its best
it could include George Benson but in general it is just
inane middle of the road US FM radio stuff. Nice occasionally
but I couldn't see myself personally addicted :)
I suspect they just were forced down that mediocre road
due to lack of listenership for real jazz. For real jazz try
the musicchoice channels or BBC radio 2 on certain
times (or lyric now that they are on... at weekends)..

    If you like jazz:

why not check out the Easy Listening channel.
(By the way I'm on commission for any new listeners)
