Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well strictly speaking Twix passes as sweets but then again I'd have Twix for starters , main course AND dessert!

Hmmm, perhaps "sweeties" should be split into "chocolate" and "genuine sweeties", thnen we can tell the Mars Bar eaters from the Campino freaks.

    I am a Campino freak.

Someone else can pull it up but a similiar post was put up like this a year ago. It degraded to the mindless repeating of "I LIKE CAKE!!!" or "MMM...CAKE" or "nyom!". I was amazed it lasted so long. It was by Slydice I think.

Profiteroles are good, with a tiny bit of mint sirup to mix with the chocolate.

What I sometimes do is a 90% chocolate fudge cake... Unfortunately it's not easy to find 90% Cocoa chocolate over here (any idea?), so I wait until somebody goes to France and brings loads back...

i think it has to be either profiteroles or pastries. profiteroles are so nice but there are also so many gorgeous pastries eg. pecan slice!! ummmmmmmmm!!!

    Twix r teh nyommy

That HB selection icecream is savage.

A nice Snickers with some tea goes down well

A good pastrie and coffee does too.

Profiteroles are too much work and not satisfying enough to get my vote.

Beer came before them I'm afraid.

Mmm... has to be ice-cream... I've 7 litres of it in my fridge...

    (aside)
Personally I don't see how anyone can 'enjoy' a beer. For me it is a means to an end, and not necessarily something to be savoured...

Topic bars, Tiger beer, Hunky Dory's, Marlboro light's (not a conefectionary but better) and plenty of Skittlebrau (the brew with skittles floating in it, a six pack of beer and a pack of skittles will achieve the desired effect too).

All of the above give all the vitamins, calcium, nicotine and alcohol that a growing boy needs:)

    Basked Alaska,

I like the idea of a sugar fill-up and the adrenalin rush of trying to avoid synged eyebrows from the flames ;)

    Turkish Delight!!!
Not the Cadburys one, has to be Frys.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 147 ✭✭dysfunct

Me had real turkish delight when i was in turkey,
its not actually the covered in chocolate and reddish pink colour, that is frys invention.
Its in many different colours, not as nice and sometimes you get bits of fruit inside them. :(

Oh YES agreed with the carmel fudge brownie! It's choclaty and icecreamy and carmelly and fudgy and browniey.

Man alive tis the finest of all the icecreams of all the world!

Ooh ooh! Get yourself down to a Haagen Daz shop and get them to make you a milk shake, you get to pick the flavours and everthing. The finest companion on a hot summers day.
