ROCK COLLEGE SHOWCASE, DJ EAMON SWEENEY - Whelan’s

COLM QUEARNEY, MARGARET HEALY - Temple Bar Music Centre

THE GARAGE GIGS 10 Apr Eamon Doran's

Speedman @ the Voodoo Lounge with The Crayonz and Sixdown,

Jedi @ Doyles - Great tunes & Free Adm.

There is also the little matter of Gomez & Melaton at MCDs Ambassador.

It really feels like people are starting to take the scene back from alot of the promoters which is amazing , so much grass roots and underground stuff is getting a bit more attention these days which is top notch, I also note that there are different venues being used to puish the boat out.....maybe that's a wake up call to the more established houses eh??? Time will tell anyway hopefully its all the start of a movement towards a rejuvination of the live music scene!! There seems to be so much going on independantly it can only be a good thing. Jedi seems to be taking off which is super, The Tomato thing seems well impressive too, thumped obviously have been doing their thing successfully for a while and there are a lot more gigs to choose from on most nights.......things are on the up overall it has to be said.

    All the best - Trev
