The thing to do is....if they ignore the spam board and continue to make annoyances of themselves.....ban them from posting on everything but the spam board....I don't know if that's possible...but surely it's worth looking into??????

I think this is a really good idea. If they post elsewhere, or if the posts are deemed unsuitable by whomever, they can be moved to this spam board. That way de vore won't be hassled by pri.cks like me who worry about free speech, but the integrity of the "proper" boards is maintained. Prospective sponsers or whoever shouldn't see the spam as a problem, if they're serious about sponsering in the first place. IGN are further removed from any reprimanding legally too.
You could even call it the Pee Wee board in honour of that little fu<k!!!
The way I see it is, in the current system, the vast majority of spam, especially that of dubious content has to be blocked or removed, why don't we just copy and paste it, or whatever, into a new board.
For the record, if we go ahead, I want Rory Donegan, The Celtic Tiger, as moderator. Sutty and El Pres will back that too. TCT would be perfect in this job.

Its a strange idea TCT, chances are it will attract unwanted elements on to the rest of the boards, makeing our jobs as moderators alot more time consuming,but still if it keeps wanton slagging off the restof the boards, it could be good.

Ah, you've got to be kidding me. What a waste of time that would be. The whole point of spamming is to inject amusing comments in where the spammer would think they would be well placed. This so called spamming board would be nothing but a string of nonsensical statements with absolutely no humorous value at all. I say down with the spamming board and make way for the Porn Board!!!

The admins won't even think twice about it, simply because it's a pointless (and boring) idea.
Why waste good server bandwidth for random text related sh1te?
And besides, most of you spammers are just looking for attention, in which case you wouldn't even use the board.

Erm is it just me or is the main reason ppl spam to annoy other ppl?
Here anyway, i know the idea is to get the message acroos to lots of ppl at once, but daa himself once told me he only behaved like a ****er to annoy admins...

Therefore having a spamming forum would be pointless... a forum than nobody reads and all the spammers post to, in the knowledge that their posts wouldnt be read? Do i sense that maybe they would still post in the regular forums? Anyway, it would negate the whole (proper) purpose of spamming, ie getting the message across to as many ppl as possible at once. I for one know that i would never read it.

In summary, if you get all the annoying spammers to post there (which is HIGHLY unlikely), you end up with nobody reading it. And if genuine ppl who want to get a message across post there, nobody reads that either. If you want your post to be noticed post it in the Quake forum. Or here, in the After Hours forum, which (imo) has become the second biggest (and first best!) forum on the boards
