    Hey all, i got a lovely little menu script on my site which i reallllllyyyyyyyyy like. But lately i've but small bits of flash around the place and the menu script has a mouse over effect on it which drops down menus, not dis-similar to boards.ie one. Anyway its fine on the old html but when it drops down over flash it gets cut out as if the flash is set to the front. Is there anyway to over come this?

    You can see what i mean on my Message-Board . move your mouse over the 'about us' and you'll see what i mean at the bottom of the menu.

    If ya need to see the script then i'll up load it.
    They are here:

    Thanks,
    Alo.

    There is a fix for that.
    I remember seeing it in relation to an Applet as well.

    Perhaps check the dhtmlcentral forum...

    'Tis a great resource :)

    i just added this to the flash parameters.

    <param name="wmode" value="transparent">

    It says its only meant to work in IE tho.
    Have to try find something for NS. Grrr how i hate NS. (don't think i even have it installed anymore). So if anyone is usin NS could you tell me if it works with it?

    Oh n thanks 80's Project for the link. There were a good few posts but most were to do with their own type of menu. I got that last one from mmmm, http://www.dynamicdrive.com/ . Its pretty good, but not for support.

    Thanks,
    Alo.

    Well, I don't see the drop down at *all* in Opera, so it's not a problem :D
