I read in todays Sunday Tribune that from this summer they will be probably launch on-line betting, games, voting, e-mail services and interactive advetising. It will only be available to customers who have their digibox connected to a phone line.

The report in todays "Turbine" also said that Sky plan to recruit extra staff for their Dublin Office, for advertising features on Sky Active. No time frame, but it did say "Later this year".....
Also the article stated that Sky has 220,000 suscribers here, and they expect 165,000 of these will have access to the interactive services when they launch.

RTE Interactive???? Dont think so, although i am very impressed with the BBCi features, especially sports interactive.

Pity they wouldn't spend the money they are planning on interactive Ireland, on something like providing extra BBC services , ITV and Channel 4:mad:
It's what the customer wants and the Customer is always right-unless of course he/she is a Sky customer, which means he/she can be trampled on and ignored so as to line murdocks pockets:mad:
