Your favourite Trip-Hop/Chilled tunes

Trip-Hop, Chilled music has been getting pretty popular lately - its almost main-stream, what with Air, Groove Armada and St Germain and a million and 1 compilation albums of dodgy varying qualities. What I want to know is, what are your favourite songs? What do you really like to relax and listen to. What would be your perfect song to listen to on a trip so some mountains, a lake, another country, while driving along with a nice girl or when in Amsterdam ;)

Try to stick to specific songs and not name bands/ablums. Oh and if you go outside of the trip-hop genre could you tag the song saying as much. Extra brownie points for mentioning something good no-one has heard before.

    (Well Known)

Zero 7 - Give It Away
    St. Germain - Sure Thing
    Air - La Femme D'argent
    Air - Radian
    Air - Vaggabond
    Groove Armada - Serve Chilled
Groove Armada - Inside My Mind (Blue Skies)
Groove Armada - At The River
    Groove Armada - Drifted
    Groove Armada - Lazy Moon
    Orbital - Halcyon & On & On
    Orb - Little Fluffy Clouds
    Leftfield - Melt

    (Not so well known)
Coldfeet - In My Lucid Dreams (Karma mix)
    Aim - Cold Water Music
Fila Brazillia - Mr Scruff Get A Move On
Fila Brazillia - A Zed and Two L's
Fila Brazillia - At Home In Space
Fila Brazillia - President Chimp Toe
Fila Brazillia - Throwing Down a Shape
(Cuban, like beuna vista social club/trip-hop)
Up, Bustle and Out - Hip Hop Barrio
Up, Bustle and Out - The Revolutionary Woman of The Windmill
Up Bustle and Out - The Hand of Contraband
Up, Bustle & Out - Coca Conga
(Not really trip-hop, think pink-floyd, radiohead)
Sigur Rós - Viðrar vel til loftárása
    Sigur Rós - Ny Batteri
Sigur Rós - Svefn G englar

    (Fairly rare)
Doctor Olive - Good Old Terra Firma
    DJ Cam - Gandsta ****
Cibo Matto - White Pepper Ice-cream
    Herbalizer - 40 Winks
    DJ Krush & Toshinori Kondo - Shoh-Ka
    Gabriel Rene - Absynthesis
    Dzihan & Kamien - Before
    Sven Väth - Blue Spliff
    Longers - The Brain

    the Karma Collection (ministry of sound)Is worth buying for the following tracks,some good asian trip hop,a few good tunes and the obligatory big name fillers (why jakatta's "so lonely" and not the far superiour "american dream" was included mystifys me. {is there a chillout albumn out there which doesnt feature Craig Armstrongs "weatherstorm"and clannads "theme to robin of sherwood"?}

    Any way the good stuff
    nitin sawheney>sunset

    nusreat fateh ali khan>Mustt Mustt
    badmarsh and shri>Sajanna
Future Sound Of London>Papua New Guinea
    Black Mighty orchestra>Ocean Beach
    Cantoma>the call
    moby>novio
dusted>:always remember to respect and honour your...
    Bent>Swollen
    Lamb Chop>Up with people

    and thats just disk one;)
Disk two is a little more fragmented in quality and the tunes dont mesh quite so well together but notable tracks include
    highlights of this disk
    Talvin Singh>Light
    Frederick Rousseau>Danya
    deepak chopra>desire
    ghostland>interveiw with an angel
    lw>did i dream
    da lata>cores
    1 giant leap>racing away
    grand tourism>la guitare enchantee

nice list GB, I'm not that big into Trip-hop/Chilled much though, though it can be good at times, usually songs with lyrics to trip-hop are mad lyrics

Here's three that I think might fit into that catorgy..

Leftfield [Featuring Bambaataa] - Phat Planet (Dave Clarke Remix)

Green Velvet - La la land

aquanuts - Deep Sea (Martin Eyerer Remix)

Chicane feat. Maire Brennan of Clannad - Saltwater (The Thrillseekers Remix)

Thats all that I can think of now.. I also think Terrerdrome have some Trippy songs, but not really trippy chilled like.. they just have crazy tripping **** :)

couldnt name any chilled out songs.. i tend to listen to complete albums that flow from one track to the next rather than individual tracks.

at the moment its in order of:
    amon tobin - supermodified
fsol - lifeforms/isdn (accelerator & dead cities don't make the mark).
boards of canada - anything by :)
    b12 - time tourist
funki porcini - love pussycats & carwrecks or headphone sex

any of the science fiction jazz or future lounge series of jazz/funk/bass compilations are great relaxing listening as well.
