    My computer is playing mp3 and quicktime videos really slowly. What is wrong?

    Could be a lot of things really (no, that's not a cop-out)

    Leaving aside technical suggestions (which doubtless will come from the knowledgeable), if your PC is playing quicktime files and mp3 files slower than before, defragging your hard drive miight be a good place to start

    are any of them associated with different applications? or ones they shouldnt be maybe..like Windows Media might be trying to play the mp3s while u have ur mp3 player running..or something :)
