editing startup on NT4

    is there any way of removing progs from startup in NT? i can do it in '98, but NT doesn't hav the same option.

    if you go into services on the control panel you can chose what ones you want to start automatically or manually or not at all, but as far as i know thats the only place in NT that you can control start up

    If your looking for the startup folder its found at winnt\profiles\username.

    Some stuff isn't launched from the startup folder. Hack the registry thusly:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
