    No.

The teams should share the proceeds of games.

And anyway, many 1st/2nd division sides are in a worse financial state than their non-league counterparts.

its very true there are alot of clubs struggeling in all the leagues, all the more reason for the so called big clubs to take note, lower divsion football and non league football is the heart of the game and they diserve somthing it may be a great day out for small clubs to go and play premership sides, but the truth is the money made at such games could save teams that are struggeling.

And it does every year. As it is decent cup tie will save a lot of small clubs asses.

But if the Big clubs stop getting money they won't play in the competition and the money will desert it.

Also, I don't see Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, etc fielding a team of £20,000 - £60,000 per week internationals and risk injuries, fatigue, damage to their pitches, etc, if the bulk of the money is going to other clubs. All they'll get is a bigger backlog of games. Why should they???

The glory of the cup wouldn't last long in that case!
