Any1 here have Diablo2 and plays it online cause I need to get some decent weapons and sh!t. And would they have ne tips for a necromancer

Iron maiden and blood golem thats all u need.
Make sure u have loads of healths and mana restores. as for weapons if your a necro you shouldnt be fighting yourself keep fangs and spear handy if any get close otherwise its skelly mages, skellys and your get your mastery up for the golem.

Very little can touch u since they'll effectively beat themselves in trying to attack with the maiden on.

bull****, i run around with my necro and my armies follow , i never do one single hit on a npc.

One golem , 4 Skeleton, 7 Skeleton mages,10 Revived Npc's.
Never use iron maiden, unless i am bored and help some.
My golem has over 1000+ life. and all my spawns are seriously boosted up with equipment and some nice skill points.
Necro is the only one that can actually specialise in something !

im only on lvl 32 atm and i have 8 points on skelly mastery and 2 on golem mastery i have 6 skelly mages and 5 skellys that ne good so far ?

There are many many ways to play a nerco if yours works for you thata fair and well he asked for advise so the more options the better.

Just a word of warning: Online an army of skeletons can be unhealthy for your ping. Lag follows frequently. My two cent.

I found bone spear, iron maiden and blood golem particularly useful. In my opinion you're better off not bothering with just normal skeletons, once you get far in act 2 they're pretty useless. I just sent my golem in every time and cast iron maiden on every monster that goes after him. It's fun to watch them hack the shíte out of themselves Bone spear is handy then for close encounters. I might install this again. Do ye play the expansion or just the original game?

My main character is a level 72 Necromancer, and all I can say is a well equipped hireling coupled with the Life tap Curse (Iron Maiden if the chosen enemy is immune to physical) and a good Iron Golem/Fire Golem (For the thorns / fire damage) can wreack havok... Ever since I reached level fourty I haven't even glanced at the Summon Skeleton Ability, and wouldn't bother wasting Skill points in those skills, considering how weak they truly are against the higher level beasties you'll encounter...

I have an immensely effective Lut Golein Hireling with the Holy Freeze Aura, with the Unique Yari (Forget it's name + Stats) and armour that reduces his damage by 30% - Making him lethal, and if he DOES take any significant damage, cursing his foes with life tap means he heals himself when striking the enemy, hence you have no real need to do anything except make sure you apply the right curse to the right creature, ressurrect the right creatures (NOT Skeletons) and maintain your golem.
