taht should be enough then, just go ahead and install, do you want a fat 32 partition or the other one(to early to think of names)
they say the others more stable, and if you not doing a dual boot you might as well go for it

to be honest, i wouldnt bother with a dual boot.
just get rid of all the donkey porn, adn do a nice clean install of win2k with fat32 format. works a nice treat. easy to use, nice little icons, never crashes. in fact, everybody should do it....
and anyone who tells you that win98 is better than win2k is either a)on drugs, b)mentally unstable c)in HR managment, d)very very very old...

And lets not forget the many security holes that they left in windows 2000.

I recently read an article on it and was quiet amazed att how the seurity levels in windows 95/98 are better than windows 2000

I have always found it an advisable thing to do! Upgrades never seem to be as stable as clean installs.

    as for formatting,
depends if yo8u want to use ntfs or fat32.
you dont HAVE to format, just upgrade win98 if you want. neither do you have to format both drives.
its actually pretty good like that.
just try the upgrade first. if it doesnt work or you dont like it, format and reinstall.
and if you really must dual boot, remember what OS you install things under smile.gif

if i got duel boot, i'll sepetate some space from the big drive and install all there. so full versions will go with each

If your c:\ drive is currently fat32(you can check this by right cliking on the drive and going to properties)you can get away without reformating i.e. if you are just going to use win2k.

However if you want to dual boot all you need to know is do you have 1gb of free space on your second drive to install win2k to.
