    Now a...

    1.1GHz Athlon, 1GB Memory, 100GB Hard disk space (78GB of it is a new drive biggrin.gif), 32MB GeForce2, Cable internet.

    Just wondering, can you get Dual MB's for Athlons? Do the chips have to be the same speeds? The Athlons are supposed to be dropping by 35% soon.

    AMD dropped prices by about 34% today.

    That's not overkill.
    I was talking to a guy from NUIG who had a Dual P3 Xeon @800 (I think, I forget), 2GB RAM <?> anda sh|t load of Ultra Scuzzy Harddrives in a RAID setup, the one where u put the data in 'Stripes'.
    Also, Hobes, do you read 'Calvin and Hobbes' by any chance?

    there's no dual athlons yet, I'm putting off getting more RAM till a good DDR board comes out, then i'll get alot, 256 for now tho

    they will have to be the same speeds, and the motherboard will be pricey
