    Hi Stone,

For the uninitated, what's the deal here? Are you running this as a business or just buying bulk to save cash?

I'd love one to replace my TNT2 but I don't dare hit my card again at the moment...

Still, wave your lovely prices at me... wink.gif

Just a note to say its not going to be an actual shop as such more along the lines of say overclockers mainly done by post but i will have a showroom for those who want to visit. The main reason for this is cost we are trying to keep overheads to a minimum that way our prices will be lower.Ill also be doing a side line in installation and repair and custom builds for those who require it.Also for those lucky few who build systems for peeps on a regular basis will probably get a discount too. biggrin.gif

    I bought a 40gb 7200rpm in jaguar for 105 + VAT. pretty good. its a quantum fireball.

That is actually a damn good price... must look them up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,509 ✭✭✭Gerry

If thats the right price, its pretty damn good, as its below the trade price, by £40. It would be some turn up for the books.

105 quid including vat for a 40gb fireball?
As gerry already stated thats very very cheap.
Thats like a tenner under the price I'd expect to pay for one that fell off a truck.
Hell I'd easily be able to buy 5 of them and sell them on for an extra 20quid each..

Damn right thats cheap hehehe.Have jaguar gone bust cost there site is down not that i was trying to check out the competion or nuffing lol smile.gif.

if you look at neil3030's post, he doesnt say what unit of currency he used. Perhaps he meant 105 million rubles.

you are right, the site appears to be down.
the staff at jaguar were probably so depressed at the pubs being closed yesterday that they closed down the site!!

    btw
    + = plus
    thus implying,
    105 + VAT
    means:
    105 PLUS VAT
    it was perfectly clear. smile.gif

And then in a moment of absolute clarity he realised that there was nothing, not because everything had ceased to exist but rather that it had never been there to begin with.

Yeh but most mobo's (including the kt7a-rAID) hav 3 DIMM slots so if u buy 256 slots then you will be limited to a measly 768mb of ram smile.gif

    on the other hand...
were you to invest in 3 512 slots....
    1.5gb ram
    (Homer's voice) mmmmmm 1.5gb RAM
