DTS problems.

The last couple of DTS DVDs I've got seem to have problems playing speech from the centre speaker. To hear the voices, I need to push the volume on the TV to full!

Apocalypse Now and A.I. are the two in question. If I switch to standard DD 5.1 I have no issues - sound is rendered perfectly through the centre speaker as well.

    Anyone got any ideas?

I'm using a Marantz 4100ose DVD and Marantz SR4200 receiver.

    Cheers

very strange.. but it works grand with all other DTS titles?
are they region one by any chance? (which shouldn't really make a difference..)

best bet is to try and isolate the problem..
remove all other connections bar the dvd & tv..
try them with a different dvd player first of all (which should be easy to get your hands on) and then if still no joy try them with a different receiver (which is usually a bit harder!).
