Now that RTE have officially told us of a date for BSKYB launch. Is there any news about it also going out in the UK. What about the GoodFriday agreement and all that?????????

It is not going out to the whole UK, only to Northern Ireland.

214-216 looks likely for NI EPG position of RTE.

I would hazzard a guess that the RTE radio stations will appear at 851-854 on the Irish EPG... But as the radio channels are FTA, they may take RTE Radio 1 from its present location and group the RTE channels together after 912..

And that part of Good Friday agreement is only for NI, not for the rest of the UK.

Thanks for that piece of info. I notice on Digital Spy web site there are a lot of people clammering for something to replace Tara when they eventually close down. I have a brother living in Scotland and he was enquiring from me. What do you think will happen??- Do they get RTE radio over there?- on BSKYB radio channels? or is that only for ROI

I honestly dont know what RTE will do to replace Tara, or what they have up their sleeves.

All RTE radio channel, RTE Radio 1, 2fm, RnaG and Lyric FM will be available, throughout Britain and Ireland.
