    Hiyas lads,
Me dad has ordered me to get him some parts.
I'm looking for an AMD K6-2 450, 64 megs of pc100 SDRAM and a mother board to suit.
Basically I'm looking for the cheapest place to get this stuff. I don't really know dublin at all and i'm assuming they charge less than the robbers down here.
I looked at www.maplins.co.uk but they seem to have discontinued everything I'm looking for.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    .niall.

Why not consider getting it mail order from the uk?
scan.co.uk or overclockers.co.uk are a lot cheaper than peats, and a good bit cheaper than pcp. Even with the exchange rate its probably cheaper

noooo...stay at least 100 km from peats at all times!

most of the stuff they have on that site they dont even bother to stock until they receive orders for it, their prices arent anything to shout about either.

Yeh, you can definatly get lower prices than Peats, but it's a good place if you can't be arsed shopping around.

Ah don't get a K6-2, surely you can budget for a Duron/Celeron cpu. The K6-2 is the devils cpu - it runs far to hot and corrupts things.
