Old analog satellite system

i may be able to get my hands on an old analog satellite dish and stb. i was trying to tune in some stations at the weekend but i got german stations and cnn. i got a glimpse of german mtv and mtv2 whilst scanning. where can i get a list of stations and frequencies for this system? the main plus for me would be the german stations as i have lived in germany before and have been looking for a way to get the german stations here for a while now.

can anyone answer this for me:
when i was tuning in stations, there was the expected freq, polarity but the was also a field called satelite and had a rnage of values from 1 to 128. what is this for?

i ask this coz i tried a few different values for it and it seemed to make no difference

Those numbers 1-128 will only apply if you have a motorised dish. It means your system has the capacity to store up to 128 different satellite positions.

wasssup jez i read that ure selling an analog box, how much are ya lookin for it, can it be connected to the sky dish and can it pick rtl4 its a dutch station.
