Yeah of course I remember the Tick. It was brilliant. Oh and whatever channel it was on would show Earthworm Jim straight after it on a Saturday morning. Bliss.

    My favorite bit is:

The Tick is showing off his new search light (a la Batman) to Mayor.
Tick: See you just shine it on a passing cloud and I'll be able to tell that the city needs me.
Mayor: I know we got a whole load of them lately. That one's for Der Fleidermouse. All that happens when we use it is he gets on a bus and leaves the city for a forthnight.

    Paraphrased but still classic

You're gonna get a lot of people saying they remember this,
    1) because it was a classic cartoon.
    2) because its not off tv that long.

In fact i think it might still be on cartoon network, but i thats just guesswork since i only have cable.

I remember a lot of the episodes, my favourites are either the one when Chairface tried to write his name on the moon with a big lazer, and every episode after that the cha of chairface was on the moon.

That episode or the one where albert left him and he got some sort of pig type animal as a replacement because he thought it saved his life.

Or there was the one when he lost one of his antennae and he completely lost his balance and was staggering around drunk style all episode.

I choose not to ramble on any further.

    SPOOOOOON!!!
    :D

Personnally i loved the episode with the lightbulb villians and the film crew and the pig for a leg. I loved that. Also the theme song was brilliant and and and well the whole series was cool.

No it isint on Cartoon network anymore.

The Tick was brilliant. Not as great as Earthworm Jim though (but then, what was?).

That "spooooon!" bit was absolutely hilarious, one of my favourite TV moments.

TCC was re-labeled as Trouble. If i remember right, there was another re-labeling inbetween TCC & Trouble, but i cant remember the name of it for the life of me

Yea, good show. There's also a live action series - although I dont think it's made its way to this side of the pond yet.

The best thing ever in the tick *and thats saying something* was Sarcastro : The whiny Fidel Lookalike who used the stinging power of sarcasm to blight his enemies

Brilliant stuff ,and Id nearly have to say it beat the also excellent earthworm jim by a slight margin :D

Yah I managed to get my hands on a pilot episode of the live action show (had a big "Not for Air" written along the bottom :D )

Was just as good as the cartoon but AFAIK it got axed and will probably never make it to our screens. Your best bet is to search the web or WinMX or get it off mIRC.

The action series was only aired in the US. I believe it was quite good but not quite as good as the cartoon.

I loved the way The Tick used sort of summarise what they learnt at the end.. sort of like Jerry Springers final thought..

You know, when a tomato grows out of your forehead, it gets you thinking. What do we know about anything? Life is just a big, wild, crazy tossed salad. But you don't eat it! No sir! You live it! Isn't it great?

    Truly classic stuff.

    Yes, I do.

    Arthur was the sidekick right??

TCC was actually a good channel. It had Earthworm Jim and the second (and much better) Sonic series.

Do you remember the punisher rip off guy who was a bloody lunatic so insecure....poor baby.

I have the original Comic series of this, before it was adapted to cartoon. Early 80s stuff.

And I would really love a copy of the pilot episode of the live action show. Anyone found a link yet to it?

His sidekick was called Arthur and he dressed up as a moth but everyone thought he was a rabbit.
