I know this really belongs on Tech or somewhere, but what screen size do you use (I want know what most people use so I can hassle daddy Cloud about Boards.ie's 800 x 600 ;)).

If you don't know what you use, minimize all you applications, Right Click on your desktop, select 'Properties' and then select 'Settings' and check 'Screen Area'

But surely using % settings in tha code will wipe away the need to cater for the most common or uncommon screen size.

i used 1024x768 on my 17" monitor, 1152x864 seemed the natural step up when i got my 19".... :o

    1024x768 @85Hz on good PC, same in college - though at a eye-soring 70Hz
I also use 640x480@60Hz on the shíte box by my bed.

I used powerstrip to tweak my configs.
If the things reported were correct I managed to push my monitor to some very strange resolutions and refresh combos
    I think I got 1600x900/1200@~72Hz
Wish I'd taken some screenies :)

    1024x768@100mhz on my main 17"
    1024x768@100mhz on my loonux 17"
    800x600@60mhz on my w2k servers* 15"
    800x600@60mhz on my 25" TV
    800x600@75mhz on my crap laptop

*This displays to both my 15" and the 25" TV and therefore runs at 60mhz

    Hey, you asked!

Nope, because of the way the topic titles on the front page are truncated by the code server-side - so if the limit is raised above 30 (which it seems to be now) a lot of people using lower resolutions will get that text wrapping.

But I say screw 'em, if they want to/have to use a low resolution, they can handle titles spilling over onto two lines now and again :P

Yes well, all my monitors are l33t and operate at much higher frequencies as I have incredibly good eyesight, or something.
