Why do we Fart? What causes us to pass vile smelling gases through ar$seholes? I am actualy lookinf for a serious answer believe it or not,m hence why I posted it here.

I would i imagine its a buildup of methane gas and trapped air that passes through the bowls and is released.. the smell is a result of either the methane and/or whatever else is in the colon waiting to be released... could be wrong but thats what i think!
