Pioneer's latest DVD Player, as they put it themselves..."you can access virtually every 12 cm optical disc on the market".

    DVD/VCD/CD/CD-R/ CD-RW/DVD-AUDIO/SACD

Ive played with/listened to the other Pioneer DVD-A players and they were great. Looking forward to having a listen to this too :)

Anyone currently using DVD-A/SACD in a big way/

    Bucon.

DVD-A, not really, the closest Ive listened to is a 24/96 Khz Stereo PCM track. I've got 7 SACDs though. Not exactly my favourite stuff on offer but some nice tracks here and there. Id say the DVD had a warmer sound, and the SACD was a but more detailed, both are excellent though.
TBH there isnt really enough available for either format at the mo. Youd be better off investing in a CD upsampler/DAC/DeJitter package (The Perpetual Audio P1a/p3a combo is excellent for this).
