What 'other channels' can I get?

    I have only recently got a Sky system and for awhile I had the ITV stations but these have now gone.
    Is there anywhere I can get a list of any stations I can currently add (English language)?
    Also a friend of mine who lives in Limerick (I'm in Cork) claims that he has S4C. I don't really want this channel but can he have it and it be unavailable on my system?
    Bottom line is can anyone direct me to a web site that will give me a list of the extra stations I can tune to without trying stacks and failing.
    Help!
