    Greetings all.

As I spend half of the year abroad (Helsinki), is it possible for me to take my digibox and Irish subscription card with me when I travel and watch sky digital abroad. Is the signal broadcast on Astra 2A, 2B, 2D, or all 3. The 2D footprint does not cover northern europe. Does anyone have any experience of doing this?

Get yourself a good DX able Sky receiver (The Panasonic DSB30 is reckoned to be a good one (not the 31) and
get it married to the card here before you go. There are always a few for sale on ebay.

Basically when your on the fringe of the footprints you need a box with good filtering and i think the Pani is your guy.

Yes the DSB30 is the best receiver forthis purpose but even with this you may not get all channels on the narrower beam, get as big a dish as you can.
