WinTV problems

    Win2k, geforce2mx, DX8, all latest drivers.
    Problem is black lines horizontally om screen. Sound is fine.
    Anyone any ideas ?

    Forgot all about it.

    Have you tried to change the settings for what type of display it use's? (overlay and all that stuff?) there can be a lot of difference in the outputs. Also you may want to look at the cable going into the card, make sure the tin copper wire going around the main cable is not making contact with the main cable.

    Thx, sutty. All that stuff is fine and verified working. tried the overlay but no diff.

    Have you checked your refresh rates? Have you checked the settings on the monitor itself? Have you made sure the connections are secure and there are no warped connectors or unsightly marks? Do you see the lines on the Win2K loading screen? Are they on all the time the card is giving output? What kind of lines are they, are they static or do they move up and down the screen?
